Peplum + Polka Dots

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket PhotobucketTop: H&M {similar here}, Jeans: Old Navy, Trench Coat: Rachel Zoe for QVC {similar here}, Platform sandals: Piperlime {similar here}, Bracelet: Michael Kors.

I love the fun and flirty combo of polka dots and peplum on this H&M top. One of the trends on my list to try this spring was peplum, so when I saw this adorable top at H&M I had to snatch it up! It’s been a bit cool in the mornings here this week, so I used the cool weather as an excuse to break out my new trench via Rachel Zoe for QVC. I hope you all are having a great week!

P.S. My red lips are MAC lip varnish in Warning.

Breezy Boho

Here’s my idea of what to wear when you just can’t stand the thought of getting even the slightest bit dressed up. The breezy sweater and maxi skirt are relaxed and easy, super comfy - but you still manage to look put together. I strongly believe in dressing to impress and bringing that little bit of extra wow factor wherever you go, whether its with a great shade of lipstick, fab shoe, or a standout accessory. I think this outfit perfectly accomplishes just that. What do you all throw on when you want to be relaxed but still pulled together?

Weekend Wear

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket PhotobucketTop: c/o Lulu’s, Shorts: Banana Republic Factory {similar here and here}, Sandals: Old Navy, Hat: Urban Outfitters {similar here and here}, Bracelets: Michael Kors, Gap, c/o Stella and Dot, Rings: Forever21, Gift from mom, Necklace: Lee Michaels gift from mom.

Here’s a few snapshots of what I wore this past weekend. As promised on Friday, it was pretty laid back. I went to dinner with some friends and afterwards we headed to see Titanic in 3d. Titanic is one of my all-time favorite movies (I’m a sucker for love stories) so seeing the 3d version was definitely a treat! The weather was pretty cloudy and windy all day long so I thought it was best to wear a hat to keep my hair from being a windblown mess. The bright colors I wore added some perkiness to the cloudy day. Anyone do anything fun this weekend!? If so, share! :)

P.S. I got this top at the swap Lulu’s event during the Texas Style Council conference awhile back. I’m finally getting a chance to wear it…cute right!?
